Hey all!

I always feel weird being self-promotional, but this month I'm fortunate enough to cross something off my bucket list and had to share. The first issue of Ghost Town is now solicited and is my first professionally published comic work

I've included the solicitation from their website here (more out of excitement than anything else) but greatly appreciate anyone taking the time to check out the book.  Written by Dave Dwonch, Justin Greenwood did the pencils and it was a joy to colour his work (though kind of intimidating to have my colours right next to Jordie Bellaire's cover colours)

Cheers,

Brian.

Hey everyone!

The project I'm currently working on has been announced via Twitter, so figured I'd throw it up here.

fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/201…

It's called Ghost Town and is being published by Action Lab Entertainment. I'm doing the interior colors (the covers, like the preview image here, are done by another artist) :)

Will throw some interior pages up when I get the okay.

I've been working on a couple of projects for comics publisher Action Lab Entertainment lately and have posted a few preview pages.  Check them out! It's much appreciated.

Cheers,

Brian.

Hey everyone.  Dunno how many people actually check out journal entries, but thought I should mention this fantastic site that I stumbled upon: Ctrl+Paint

Interested in creating digital art?  There is a wealth of free information here that is boiled down into over a hundred videos averaging a few minutes a piece.  The guy who runs the site, Matt Kohr, is a professional video game concept artist and really distills his lessons down to underlying, foundation-based concepts.

So much great stuff here.  This is exactly the kind of information I was scouring the internet for when I was teaching myself how to create digital art.  If only I'd come across it a year ago.

It relies on word of mouth to stay afloat (though I could see it being fairly well-known at this point - based on the quality and usefulness) so I feel I just gotta shout it out to whomever may pick up on it.

Cheers,

Brian.

Hey everyone.  Just wanted to draw your attention to an anthology book with a ton of cool content: EOC Anthology 2
230ish page TPB from creators who spend a fair amount of time over at the www.11oclockcomics.com podcast's forum.  Did grey tones and letters for an 8 page story entitled Enigma and the Gas Station of Horrors and I'm super excited to see it in print.
This book is gonna be a ton of fun (it has a Ninja Sushi Roll in it!) and is out in April, debuting at C2E2.

Cheers,

Brian.
